IV CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL DE GUITARRA CLÁSICA


“VILLA DE ARANDA”


 Del 6 al 10 de Agosto de 2005


BASES


 


1. INSCRIPCIÓN


1.1  Podrán solicitar la participación el IV CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL DE GUITARRA CLÁSICA «VILLA DE ARANDA» (2005), todos los participantes  inscritos en el concurso.


1.2  Los participantes deberán notificar su deseo de concursar entre los días 6 al 8 de Agosto de 2005, o antes,  si así lo desean. Posteriormente a estos días su solicitud no será estimada.


 


2. PRUEBAS   


2.1   El IV Concurso Internacional de Guitarra Clásica “Villa de Aranda” constará de una sola fase eliminatoria, que tendrá carácter público. Entre los días 7 y 8 se celebrará el sorteo para determinar el orden de actuación de los concursantes admitidos en este certamen.


2.2    Única fase eliminatoria:


De acuerdo con el orden de actuación que haya resultado en el sorteo, y en el lugar y hora que se señale, los concursantes seleccionados interpretarán, por el orden que lo deseen:


 


¨      Un programa de concierto con una duración entre 30 y 40 minutos máximo.


¨      Repertorio de libre elección, en que se incluya al menos tres épocas y estilos diferentes.


 


2.3   Los concursantes facilitarán una copia de las obras interpretadas a los miembros del tribunal.


2.3    Finalizada la prueba, el jurado, tras la correspondiente deliberación, anunciará públicamente el resultado del certamen.


2.4        Los concursantes ganadores deberán recoger los premios en el día y hora que se señale y participar en


el Acto de Clausura.


 


3. JURADO  


3.1    El Jurado estará formado por los profesores y participantes de la VIII Edición del Festival, y además algún miembro de la corporación municipal del Ayuntamiento de Aranda de Duero.


3.2    El jurado, además de juzgar la interpretación de cada concursante, valorará el interés, la dificultad y los diversos estilos de las obras.


3.3        El fallo del Jurado será inapelable, así mismo se reserva la facultad de dejar desierto o conceder


parcialmente alguno de los premios.


 


4. GRABACIÓN   


4.1   Las actuaciones de los concursantes premiados podrán ser difundidas o grabadas mediante cualquier medio técnico.


4.2        Los participantes renuncian a cualquier derecho derivado de este concepto.

IV INTERNATIONAL  GUITAR  COMPETITION


“VILLA DE ARANDA”


6 until 10 August, 2005


-RULES- 


 


1. INSCRIPTION


 


1.1        The IV INTERNATIONAL CLASSICAL GUITAR COMPETITION «Villa de Aranda» (2005), is open to all guitarist who are matriculated  as participant in the competition, without any distinction of nationality.


1.2        All participants who whish to take part in the competition should notify the organization between the 6 th, 8 th of August 2005; or before if they wish to do so. Any applications after these dates will not taken into account.


1.3        Performances of competitors for the present edition of competition will be record digitally recorded and selected to form part of a C.D., together with other concerts held during the festival.


 


2. ROUNDS


                                      


2.1      The IV INTERNATIONAL GUITAR COMPETITION «Villa de Aranda» (2005), will have only one eliminatory round, which will take place in public. The order of performance will be decided on the 7 or 8 of August.


2.2      Eliminatory round. Following the order of performance, on the listed day and time, the participants will play in any order the following program:


 


¨      Followed by works chosen by the participant which must include minimum three different eras and styles. The programme must not exceed a maximum of 40 and minimum 30 minutes playing time.


 


2.3    Participants must make available to the jury a copy of all works to be played


2.4        The jury will, after debate, announce the results of the competition in public.


2.5        All prize winners must collect their prizes on the given day and time, and will also be expected to take part in the closing ceremony.


 


3. THE JURY


3.1  Will be formed by teachers and concert artists who take part in the VIII Edition of the Festival, the jury will also include at least one member of the local council of Aranda de Duero.


3.2  The jury, as well as taking into account the performance of each competitor, will also evaluate the technical difficulty and artistic interest of each programme.


3.3  The decisions of the jury will be final and unalterable, and they thereby reserve the right to leave any prize vacant, or partially award prizes.


 


4. RECORDING


 


4.1        Any of the performances maybe recorded or released by any sound medium.


4.2        The participants will renounce any rights in this concept.
